A.G.M. - The Annual General Meeting was held recently with an excellent turn out from members. Congratulations, and thankyou, to those members taking on committee roles for the 2008/2009 season. The new Committe is as follows:-
President - Greg Carroll; Vice-President - Greg Bailey; Secretary - Kathryn Vaughan; Treasurer - Jo-Ann Stevens; Membership Officer - Marnie Brown; Junior Development Officer - Steve Quick; Committee members - Tom Bunn, John Elder, Mark Carey.

The Newcastle Triathlon Club was formed in 1987 and in 2008 the club has over 150 members. This membership includes juniors, novices, family and very experienced triathletes who have competed in a multitude of local, interstate, and overseas triathlons and duathlons. These include the:

The core functions of the club are organisied by the club committee, who are elected annually by the membership and abide by the club constitution. All members, family and friends volunteer their time to support the club in keeping everyone up to date with club happenings, running monthly club races, running coaching and training groups, putting on social events, updating our website and organising our biggest event - The Annual Newcastle Foreshore Triathlon, held annually in February.
